Epilepsy Huron-Bruce honours volunteers April 17
Epilepsy Huron-Perth-Bruce will be holding their annual Volunteer Appreciation Night

Friday April 11, 2008

Epilepsy Huron-Perth-Bruce will be holding their annual Volunteer Appreciation Night on Thursday, April 17 at 6 p.m. at the Government Building in Clinton.
Volunteers will share great food and entertainment as an expression of the agency’s gratitude for the wonderful work they have done in the past year.
“We have a truly, wonderful and dedicated group of individuals who help us in so many ways throughout the counties of Huron Perth and Bruce. They sit on our board of directors, help in the office, and help with a number of fundraising events like our annual golf tournament, glad days, lavender campaign and raffle ticket sales. Without their effort, this agency would not exist,” said Judie Burns, executive director. “This is our opportunity to give back to the over 700 volunteers who are truly the lifeblood of the organization.”

Zehrs of Goderich, Moore’s Foodland of Clinton, BJM Financial Services of Seaforth, and Chef Les Cooks have generously offered to sponsor the event.
Kathi Lomas McGee of the Maitland Recreation Centre (YMCA) will be the evening’s speaker.
“We’re hoping for a full-house on April 17, so it’s important to call or e-mail the office to reserve your seat,” said Burns.
Epilepsy Huron-Perth-Bruce will be having its annual Charity Golf tournament on Sunday, May 25 at Woodland Links Golf Club in Clinton. Cost is $95 for a fantastic dinner, 18 holes of golf, a golf cart, and a chance at $10,000 cash.
Register by May 5 to be eligible to win the Early Bird Prize of a free golf package. For more information, contact Epilepsy Huron Perth Bruce at (519) 482-5527 or by email at epilepsy@tcc.on.ca.
